Povero's Salon boutique interior featuring clothing racks, gold fixtures, and western-inspired decor in Fort Worth, Texas

The Problem

Povero’s was preparing to open a boutique, salon offering booth rentals, and wig studio for women experiencing medical hair loss under one roof in Fort Worth, TX. With only an outdated Facebook page and no brand system in place, the business needed a professional digital presence that could support three distinct audiences and compete from day one against established boutiques nearby.

My Role & Approach

As a Freelance Web and Digital Design Consultant, I led the project from early brand discovery through Shopify implementation and launch:

  • Led a client discovery process that surfaced the Povero family story and “I See Beauty” as the brand’s emotional foundation.
  • Conducted competitive research across boutique, salon, and wig retail experiences to inform site structure and content.
  • Created a brand style guide with a working color palette, typography, and visual direction.
  • Designed the information architecture and content strategy around three distinct audience paths.

The Solution Implemented

I delivered a multi-page Shopify website that brought three business lines into one cohesive experience:

  • Pages for the boutique, salon and suite rentals, wig studio, pre-consultation flow, about, contact, and cart.
  • A separate pre-consultation flow so sensitive intake questions didn’t interrupt the wig studio’s warm, public-facing tone.
  • Manually curated, cross-tagged product collections built for easy, ongoing upkeep.
  • An email capture system, training sessions, and guidance for the client’s Google Business Profile and Facebook transition.

Quantifiable Results & Impact

The site launched ahead of Povero’s June 26, 2026 grand opening, replacing an outdated Facebook-only presence with a professional digital foundation for three new business lines. It continues to serve as an active platform today, with a live stylist inquiry flow and an email list the business uses to promote events. The engagement also led to an ongoing hourly support arrangement.
